it is possible you could arrange a momentary operated relay to apply the correct signals as soon as the engine starts

if you subsitute the word "relay" for finger, then the job's already done. lol

If you get stuck for transport Aragorn, there's a lovely Classic ambulance for sale on ebay that Orangebean showed us! lol

Hi blue, yes would prefer it to stay on and not reset when turning the car off.

Not sure. Not something I've considered. Why do you require permanent sport mode? Not a major inconvenience to press a button and also if you Jerry Rig it, i think you might then have issues for the low range. Also there's the fuel cost implication.

Somebody on here will know how to hot wire it.

lol@Gilbert. I think you should go view it on everyone's behalf. You've finished the Ascot haven't you?

Funny how he refers to it as "An unmolested example" and that it's "been looked after"

It has more holes than Oscar Pistorius' defence.

Still, at least it's been undersealed. lol

lmfao

Wonder if it originally shipped with a gurney and defib? took you long enough to find that SE badge.

Maybe this will do better than that Noel Edmunds p38. Mind you for £10k, i'd at least want a free pistol in the glove box.

£395 and all this needs is heater plugs? Suspicious!

New track rod on. Massive difference. Zero vibrations and i think i'm somewhere near with the tracking. Need to adjust the draglink again to straighten up the wheel ever so slightly.

Old trackrod took no getting off at all. I had hammers at the ready to bash the taper but no need. Just undid the nuts and lifted it out.

Reckon i need to slacken the steering off a little as it's a bit twitchy. Slightest turn to the left goes left and slightest right goes right. A little less "connected" might do the trick?????

Faulty brake switch? Funnily enough, Jacckk posted a couple of hours ago in "Electrickery" about a burning smell. His brake switch has gone the distance and he got an ABS fault on the dash. Might be worth a look at the wiring.

think you might need a new one!

Buy it now is £850 on that Vogue in Northallerton. Apart from the obvious reason he listed, the rest of the car looks good. Great bodywork.

That's true Clive. My 270k + miles VSE has had, new Tophat motor (190k), Autobox, Torque Converter (at 220k), Couple of diffs, Props, Several sets of discs, 3 water pumps, 3 radiators, few wheel bearings, 3 sets of airbags and 1 set of coils (!), 5 full sets of tyres.
Quite a long list!

A bit like Triggers broom then! lol

I’ve been keeping an eye on a nice blue p38, 132399153607, but it’s bloody top of Yorkshire from my working out ☹️. It’s not overheating, but missing the sunroof!

Northallerton about 30 mins down road from me. Looks tidy

Reasonably priced Autobiography. Doesn't look too shabby. Sell the picnic tables, walnut cup holder and number plate and i reckon you'll have your money back.

Lambdas reading ok on OBD so must be either on the wrong setting in the LPG software, or not connected to it at all.

Hello.

You want a permenant sport mode? or it doesn't stay activated after you've pressed it?

Yeah on my software you enter the range. Simon did it. Perhaps it's wrong? I'll plug it back in tomorrow and check.

I have an elm obd. Should be able to get Lambda info from that shouldn't I?

The top one "Lambda 1" doesn't shift from 4.14v
The bottom on starts at 1.82v and then goes down to 1.75v

Doesn't look right to me. But then again I don't know so that's why i'm asking. :-)

I've got the full assembly coming from Ebay. £33.
