My old cats look well mullered, there's 3 lambda points on each, some muppet welded points everywhere ( not very well, I might add) then stuck spark plugs in the holes to plug them up.. More cosmetic to be truthful, but my other boxes are near the mark, plus scrap cats should return a ton at least, happy days !

I have 2 gems Lambda sensors that were fitted to the stainless system I just bought, I've been told there a different plug to my Thor, if that's the case your welcome to them, they look reasonably new

Hi guys, so yesterday I went down my favourite rangie breakers, was looking for an exhaust system.
Picked up a stainless system, front to back with these stainless hi flow cats. My question is, has anyone else got them, or tried them. They seem to cost mega bucks, I got front to back for £180, which obviously is a bargain, your opinions are appreciated

I've got a loom that I've butchered, drop me a pm with your address and I'll pop it in the post

Anyone going next weekend? As it's only a couple of miles from my place, I'll probably wander down there.

Might give it a go, let me know where and when

That abba song comes to mind, money, money , money,, lol,, I've had mine take a while and fill slowly for the first tenner when I've run it out, but never refuse to fill. I'd grab a new nozzle and plonk that on, must be cheapest start,, fingers crossed for you

I'm having the same problem, but apparently I can't do from iPad :(

How big's a decent sized BMW then Morat?!

Answers on a post card,, I'd say about a 3' cube size, lol...

Dave, welcome to the site,, I'm sure you can help having owned a p38 for so long..

im of the opinion that I'm happy to leave that site and just stay here, on many occasions I would of blown my top at the condescending replays you get on the other site, but bit my tongue, as you've pointed out, there's and our humour are very different. Most probably one of the reasons I've never wanted, or intend to visit there so called great nation. Its there loss of your knowledge which someone has already pointed out..

Ps, I'm up for the road trip

Richard, I was surprised that I haven't got the same message when I signed in, I sent an invite the other day,, how pathetic is that site, were not poaching business away from them, just helping out local p38 loons like us,, biting my tongue at the minute as really can feel a major rant about to hit the other site, but I'm sure they'd pull it off anyway. How does it make sense to ban someone with the knowledge you have,, oh I forgot, were always wrong, there always right even when there not !

Will always do the rise in steps, rear first so that if headlights are on it doesn't blind anyone, all the p38s I've had do the same,, mine at the mo is having a heart transplant, spent a bit of time on this job, everything cleaned and resprayed if needed, will post some pics when finished ( hopefully today 😀)

I would speak to eBay before closing any case, you still need to be reimbursed for your postage costs,,

I fitted iridium plugs in mine, then was told to go back to NGK's as these supposed recommended plugs (for LPG) can overheat the engine,, mine runs smooth with the NGK's, a lot cheaper aswell,

One thing I learnt, was don't wash ya car then fly up the dirt road, gonna make sure I come in the back way next time, lol..
Just a thought, does anyone have a decent sat nav disc or can let me know what is compatible, mine was loaded in the 15 th century I think, worse than crap, keeps sending me the wrong way, grrr

Any news on the replacement head yet ?

Don't know how Marty's putting engine in, I've always found putting a short engine in is easier as you can get to top bell housing bolts, on r/h head, I insert bolts, fit exhaust manifold, have some 1 inch packers to sit head on, start bolts, drop to 3/4 packer ect ect, saves a lot of fighting with the back exhaust bolts,, will be sticking my new engine in this week hopefully, just giving it a polish first,, OK, a degrease,, !!

Interesting.... just popped the seat forward and went to check connectors on trans box ecu and the ecu is bloody hot- 45C read off the case!
As I haven't used the car other than backing it into the shop and running it between high and low and selecting neutral, I'm thinking there's definitely a problem there!
Going to pop the motor off and give it a clean next

Showing off now, inboard bbq, whatever next , lol

I'm with OB, looks neater than mine for sure, will look at tidying mine up after new engine is in next week,, welcome to cheaper motoring

I agree, postage should be down to them, I would open a live chat with eBay, should be able to get it sorted through them.. Just popped onto eBay, it's the sellers responsibility to issue you with a returns label as the item is not fit for purpose..

I wouldn't be paying the return postage, they sent an inferior part, not as described. As for you that have been screwed by eBay, welcome to the club, I bought my mum a Miele dishwasher, plugged in and had a fault, because at my expense I had a Miele engineer plug in his diagnostics, found so many faults, plus seized motor, rotten hoses, they sided with the seller, Ffs, let's just say cost him a lot more in the long run 😇. I told eBay in a very nicely worded email what complete A- holes they are, and that the need to learn the trading laws of different counties.. If it wasn't for the fact sometimes you need eBay I would not use them at all, I closed my acc, use the other halfs if I need anything,,
