I would open it and stick the key in, try to start it, sounds as though it's got interference and not receiving fob signal, worse ways the alarm goes off, not as though anyone pays attention,

I looked at that red one, it's not bad IF there the only faults, one thing I've learnt with eBay sellers is there all w**rs when it comes to describing something for sale, especially p38s

For the right price, not bad. Got a knappa interior, could be a nice motor. I know of a 2001 for 2300. But it doesnt have lpg. Black, cream knappa, SS exhaust ( new ) ball joints replaced, good runner, but to be honest I'd have a look at the one Richard mentioned , apart from the cool springs, easy enough to put back on eas, I've got rear bags, valve block, pump, if needed
Brake linkage ? hmmm, that's confusing for sure, unless he means a hose or bracket where hose connects..

No probs, I know when he stripped a system out and put on eBay, he only got 30 quid, so said he isn't bothering anymore
Mine click like castanets, but after a few minutes they go quiet, you don't notice when the bonnet is down anyway. If someone can guide me to the quiet type, I know Dave at east coast rangies just bins them, so next time I'm down there will have a chat with him, possibly get the injectors and plugs for a reasonable price

BTW the wheels and the tints are not to my taste (thankfully he's putting the standard ones back on) and it's green, my least favourite RR colour (sorry Chris!) but at the right price, and if I get a chance to give it a look over first, I might just go for it...

Hmm, another excuse to fit the foam I bought months ago but never got around to doing. This was mine a couple of winters ago but by last winter I was down to only a couple of strips on the passenger side and one thin 1" wide clear strip on the drivers.
Time for a stone to mysteriously hit the windscreen, lol

Whenever I've had screens not working, always found it's the earth tags have come unsoldered, if, when you change the foam under the panel with wipers, your come across them, centre of screen,just plonk the soldering iron on them and they normally reattach. I love my heated screen 😁
I can't see it being a problem, I doubt if you'd even notice a difference in switch over time either, these things get warm so quickly.. I'm looking at doing the same with mine, it's bloody ridiculous that they plum the vaporiser in the way they do, my hoses are higher than the expansion tank,, I have lots of fun bleeding it, lol, have to lift expansion up as far as I can,,
If you need , I can grab one and give it a measure, I've only once used the original o rings when I removed the fuel rail, had leaks everywhere, change them all every time now. Think there 6mmx2mm
Mine only has a filter on the inlet side, nothing after the injectors, and the many I've worked on recently were exactly the same, I presume that's a standard install
