Unlock door with key, disconnect/ charge battery, reconnect battery, leave 30 mins to avoid keycode lockout, sync fob, lock and unlock, reset windows sunroof and radio. <br>
Hopefully that'll do the trick. If it does go into keycode lock out and the BECM has been changed, guess your only option, as Marty's away, is Callrova in Brighton to unlock BECM. Hopefully it won't come to that. <br>
Good luck

You sure the O ring in cap isn't torn?

It is. Be even better if it were a private forum though. Being public any opinions expressed on here are accessible via Google or even just surfing to the site. Kind of stifles the fun of free speech! <br>
Just for fun I put "What sort of stuff are you after, George?" (quote from above in this thread) into Google and it brought me straight here!

Great! <br>
Once it's cooled, top it up again (and possibly again and again). Hopefully all will be well...

I'm with Gilbertd on this, thinking you still have an air lock/ blockage hence going around it with an IR thermometer like this <br>

They can take bloody ages to bleed

Try a sniffer test. That'll tell you if you have exhaust gases in your coolant. <br>
Have you been all the way around your cooling and heating pipes and rads with an infrared thermometer with engine up to temp, following the flow diagram in RAVE?

"The old pump looked like it was covered in some kind of rubberised filler, so whether it had a major crack or something in it before." <br>
The original gaskets were coated in a rubbery substance (at least on one side IIRC) so it's probably the remains of that

I'm guessing you have 2 magnetic pick up tools so when you drop one down the gap, you can fish it out with the other?! <br>
Just be careful you don't drop that one down there as well...

I'd give them a bell to check. Avoid anything supplied by/ branded Britpart. If you dig into it, the Intermotor ones are supplied by Britpart. Have a look at the URL for the Intermotor one from another supplier : <br>

I run a GEMS so no direct experience for Bosch, but I know the Bosch systems are fussy when it comes to MAFs and lambdas, so I'd go for Bosch. <br>
Don't pay £70 though- try here http://www.island-4x4.co.uk/oxygen-lambda-sensor-0002-mhk100940g-p-7771.html

Yep- pre cat

Interesting that they do show a 4 pin diff centre for the front here: http://www.ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk/4-pin-diff-centre.html

If it were me, I'd go for this one http://www.island-4x4.co.uk/water-pump-1994-airtex-stc4378a-p-6826.html. They list it as genuine Airtex. The G that you mention above isn't a stock item and they don't use the phrase "genuine" anywhere.

Yep- I just popped by and checked. £59/ night

Jesus, OB, if you're staying there, you're earning far too much money.__

I wish- I just got a very good deal ;-)

I'm in this one http://www.swindonalexandrahouse.co.uk/ <br>
After a lifetime of corporate hotels, I love the anonymity they give as opposed to the in-your-face contact you have with a B&B. Prices for anything in that part of the world are not cheap. This one has the bonus of cancellation up to day before at no cost...

A life in Project & Programme Management has left its scars, I think
