Hello BTW, we tried a hole saw on them and that too melted, we tried a hacksaw that started to bind.

Buy new arms! Never use Poly Bushes.

I didn’t think any on RutlandRovers need to be cut. GilbertD’s on the other hand!

Yes I am hoping we can sort out another weekend, as again the radius arm and suspension work looks like a great plan. It might be worth trying to loosen some of the bolts before we head down next time. Obviously re tighten but an angle grinder was used on Gilbertd's car. Also the bushes do not come in a kit make sure you have exactly enough.

The problem with drilling it is as we tried with a hole saw. (Good ones I might add) is that the minute it got hot it started to melt and jamming the tool.

Marty ended up using one of his spares to save time over the weekend. The one with Richards old poly bushes is still there if anyone wants a go!

Not sure how you add a photo but I have a couple.

It’s ok already re fitted!

It was an excellent weekend. Sorry for causing a slightly later departure for some on Saturday, Range Rover running really nice and working heating a cooling a real bonus!

Nope but will be at the Premier Inn tomorrow.

Shall we pick up some disposable BBQ tray things?

Only thing I'm not sure about is lunch. Bring sandwiches with us?

For the location, if you put the post code in to Google Maps it's apparently the cluster of buildings above the marker with the label for the riding club.

Good point on Lunch!

Thanks for that I see where it is now.

I am getting different locations with Google maps and Apple maps. Could someone grab a screen shot of the location as I am hoping to be on my way by 8 getting there around 9.

Thanks.

Edit. As I haven't heard anything about requirements for some of the things I listed shall I leave them behind? I will bring the Axle Stands and Trolley Jack plus hand tools as these never go a miss.

Rest of it needs digging out and I'm off to the pub in a bit. :-)

I can bring an easy up gazebo. Trolley jack, ramps axle stands, large socket set and breaker bar, I have a transfer box too but the viscous coupling is broke.

I have 4 original p38 wheels doing nothing in the garden. Will update here if there is anything useful I could bring.

So I will need o rings blend motors throttle position sensor, guessing coolant any thing else?

Righto tempted to limp it to Swindon and get some help on this. Would save me trying to learn how to do it at home. If we run out of time I guess I could leave it there and get a train home.

It looking less likely I can make it in the RR, the Throttle Position Sensor still isn’t here and it doesn’t drive well at the moment. The blend motors need doing and the heater core is leaking soo much coolant now it has to come out and at least have the o-rings changed.

Add to that the caravan needs new tyres now and the daily needs £1K of work as well funds will be low.

Swindon isn’t too far from here so might pop up for day to say hi and lend a hand.

I should be able to make it. If the premier inn is full wobble box can come and stay on the campsite round the corner.

Just have to see if she runs right before the journey. Throttle Position Sensor may be faulty.

Mine would never have come out without a vice

If you don’t have a vice and sockets to press them out have a look at Propshafts as replacements.

I know for a fact he is to the wall with work for the next couple of weeks and they are certainly going to be long days.

I will be seeing him on the second week of the job as it turns out we do the same thing!

Using an old brake disc fitted backwards on the hub to drift it off.

Know the feeling Marty! Might see you on one of those jobs soon!
