You have probably looked but you haven't knocked it into gear when hoovering? That stops it with no messages.

Mine did that when I first got it and ended up being old tyres. How old are the tyres?

Yes thats sounds a little too much. Place near me will be a full stainless system for £500.

Im in almost the same boat as you!

Passive Immobilisation disabled and can use the car as expected but no effort of work syncing the key will let me use the remote central locking again. I have given up now. Just keep using the key in the drivers door to lock/unlock.

Yep tend to agree. I get high teens on the motorway at around a bit over 70! :-) if in the 50mph bits it’s good but doesn’t like the 60-65mph.

Thanks just done the same plus some abs sensor bushes. Bumpy roads keep pushing the left rear abs sensor up.

I think this is really taking the biscuit!!

Me and Chris10 did both sides upper and lower in a half day, all you need is an angle grinder, your normal tools and a press, £35 one off ebay will do the trick.

Be aware that the Bearmach replacements i got did not fit. (They credited me back but fortunately Chris had a pair in his garage at the time)

Unfortunately, until i have time and a second vehicle I will not be investigating the fault as it doesn't really cause me too much of an issue. (I know how to get around it when it happens) plus its not usually that hot here and I only tow maybe twice a month.

I don't think it will be a temperature sensor as the actual engine temperature never really rises, its the ambient air temp and the fact the engine has been working harder in the heat.

When I have been towing the caravan (1.8 tonne) in the hot weather I don’t directly have the same symptoms as you but if I go to restart the car after stopping at services. It doesn’t start right until you feather the throttle for a few a seconds. It’s fine after that though.

Well I am still here! As you know Chris mine is running ok just sorting out bits as a when time/money allow.

The cats in my garden are probably worth more then that! Pampered little *.

Back on topic. That is interesting.

I’ve got both radio and eka on the back of the seat fusebox cover,, I came out yesterday to radio needing the code, god knows what happened

Its that time of the month Chris! :-)

The dash display should have told about the bonnet unless you popped it up whilst fault finding. EKA is shown first.

I had a flat battery cause similar when near strong RF signals. Plugged in battery charger and Waited 20 mins entered the EKA code and it started.

I do have one of those small jump packs otherwise make sure the bonnet is fully shut otherwise EKA code will not be accepted.

Come on people! Let’s make this happen, it would be good to meet some of you and your p38’s

Whats the plan for what we are going to take on presuming this goes ahead as planned. I will obviously need to order parts in advance but don't want to have parts sitting around.

Order of importance for me
Suspension/Blend Motors equal importance as in this weather something other then hot air could also save my life!
Headliner

So far all I can assertain is it’s

Marty
Rick (Me)
Sloth

So who is in? Trying to make sure nothing clashes with this weekend.

I’m good for the 4/5th,

Might bring the caravan if ok to provide BBQ for all and accommodation for me for the overnight.
