I know exactly what you mean, the clocks can be hard to see depending on the weather conditions, I don’t think even with them illuminated it would make that much of a difference.
If anything I’d look at illuminating the speedo needle in a different colour, ( led ).
it makes it stand out more, then possibly run a switched supply to just that bulb holder, I know a few were talking about doing LED bulb sets, but don’t know if it ever left the drawing board !.
If you think ours are bad, try a Peugeot 407, worst clocks I’ve ever seen, illuminated or not.

Core plugs are only a couple of quid for the set, your get hammered on labour for a job that requires knocking something into a hole, I’d pull the manifold off and do them myself. Couple of hours to do both sides for peace of mind.

I’m not 100%, Wasn’t it 99 onwards that had side bags, hence different connectors, can you not pus the connectors out, normally just a tiny driver pushed in releases the spade connector

I’m with Gilbert, the dimmer is on top of l/h arm, on top as such, you can rock it either way, if there was no illumination you wouldn’t see anything

My moneys on a core plug or one of the steel pipes has corroded , shine a torch up and your should be able to see the core plugs, if it is them, exhaust manifold off to do them. Not advisable to drive as they can just pop, but saying that, how long has it been leaking ! ..

I’ve just held my iPad over my head, lol, now I know where it is looking at the pics, I’d say a core plug or drain point

Rick, the seats your better off doing one at a time, there is a diy guide on the other site I think, it’s just a matter of strip down, repair the break, heat shield and reassembly, takes a few hours per seat.

Just a tip, when you do the window regulator, they’re pop riveted in, 4.2 mm if I remember correctly, some people nut and bolt them, I always re pop rivet.

Well I thought I’d found my lpg problem this morning, was out tinkering, found 2 of the lpg hoses had slight splits where the clips go round, so trimmed and refitted,
Gonna order new as I think P.O. changed as 2 types of pipe and one doesn’t fit as snug as I’d like.
still only 15 secs on lpg, grrrrrr,, on the positive side, I changed the purge valve and it now ticks over nicely, possibly the last thing I would of thought could cause tickover problems, but after a google search it can, any fresh ideas on my lpg welcomed..

If the remote isn’t doing anything it does sound like your going to need another latch, then sync the key, Marty on here does refurbished latches.
