I use griptite now to get rounded / worn bolts off, I’ve still got a set of Irwin but if you get a dodgy head bolt, there to big,, the griptite are expensive, but they’ve earnt there money back many times over, they do 3/8 and 1/2.
Actually saw a set in B&Q, obviously not griptite make, were reasonably priced as well.
Not found a bolt yet they don’t grip 👍

The hardest thing is cracking the bolts on the gearbox crossmember, I think the hulk did mine up,, as said , studs will most probably come out as well with nuts attached at manifold end, if it wasn’t for the crossmember in the way, would be an easy job..

I must of been the lucky one, always got what I ordered

Holy shite,, thought mine was expensive at £300, but it was the only one for sale at the time... looks like those few extra speakers cost a fortune,,

Easy to miss , your normally so pleased, but so knackered when it comes to torquing them up,, glad your sorted

I use an old ratchet strap, poke it in and through using a hacksaw blade, then hook it out and give a good yank, had a pin break once (1st time I did rears) due to rust, got a saw out and cut the top of bag mounting to release. As of late, haven’t changed any bags this year,,

Wish my viszla was 56lb ish, she was 25 kg when I met my other half, now she’s about 15kg heavier, 13yrs old and can still get in the car. Quite possible with the car on entry level should better able to get up on there own

When you replaced the diaphragm, did you put it in dry ?
They don’t like any kind of lube, they stick..

I’ve seen that interior in an H&H before, personally I think it’s bloody awful, but each to there own.

The removalable picnic table in the boot is a new one to me,, I thought they had the gun cabinets,, must be rare,, but the guys having a laugh if he thinks it’s worth ten grand, or near that ( he mentioned they sell 5 figures)
I’m thinking if it’s super clean 3-5k.
But to be honest I don’t like the interior ..

Vogue? Dyslexic employees

There's your next job Clive, make up a vin plate and weld it to the tank,,
Just kidding 😁

I'm the same, if I click oily bits I get a complete mixture, nothing in order of posts. It's all over the place

How long does it take if you wash it off, is it engine or atf oil ? I had similar was a porous pipe on gearbox cooler, used to give bottom of rad a light dusting of oil.

Wishful thinking as far as I'm aware, keep the battery charged and you shouldn't have any problems, obviously with the starter change the last thing you want to do is disconnect the battery, pop the lead off the starter and slide a bit of hose over it, no sparks and no power intruption

You can pull the connector, you need cable with a 3.3 ohms resistor, it will fool system into thinking it's still got a bag connected.. not that I've ever done that 😉

I bought mine on eBay for around 40quid, 4yr warranty, not had any problems in last 2 yrs.. looks like there upto 60 now (Lucas 069/072)

That would be handy, let me know how much ect,,

I've just ( yesterday) popped the top off one I had laying around, I'm looking at repairing the broken spout with a metal nozzle bolted through,, rad was surprisingly clean.
Was given the number of a guy who builds rads, gonna see how much for a complete Ali one and maybe mention the gap in the market..

Thanks, I couldn't see how to buy direct from Delphi..
