I’ve been trying to visualise as well, gonna grab a head gasket tomorrow and have a look, I’m in robot mode when I’m doing heads, lol
I’m 50/50 on bidding, the distance is first, second is oil in water, the other way round is fair enough, but where is the oil pressure high enough to over ride the water pressure, on water cooled oil coolers below filters I’ve seen it happen, but that’s a high pressure point ! I need to have a look at spare lump i have in the garage to see if water is running around the filter holder

I’ve been keeping an eye on a nice blue p38, 132399153607, but it’s bloody top of Yorkshire from my working out ☹️. It’s not overheating, but missing the sunroof!
Northallerton about 30 mins down road from me. Looks tidy
Yes, the fact he’s had it 9 yrs shows he must of looked after it, 30 mins from you, 4 hours from me, think I’m gonna let it go ☹️. Trying to stick within the 2 hr travelling range
Just done a search on autobiography, was first released 1993, to the public 1994..

Mine with the hi flow cats and stainless all through is quiet in the cab, but all my neighbours comment on how it sounds ( the norm is, sounds nice) when I pull away. I’m like you OB, don’t want fart cans on the back, just a nice v8 burble, which apparently I have, fingers crossed yours sounds nice as well

We did but it's easier to refer to it as the Ascot as that's what the badge on the back says. Its got everything that an hse would have so is a high spec. Dina has named them anyway, mine is white man, the SE is big blue and the Ascot is that rather than just calling it the silver one.
I’ve called mine a few names before, none that I’d repeat here, 😂
I was pottering down the a120 the other morning, pitch black when I lost everything, lights, motor, the lot, bit scary when you can see the side of the road,,
Managed to get it off the road ( more luck than judgement) popped the bonnet, gave my pos terminal although tight a little tap, hey presto back to life, thatbattery has been in there since I bought it,,
Ps, anyone else seen the 16k p38 on eBay,, there be lucky,,
As far as I know, but we had to reach 10 purchases to get the extra discount ( which we didn’t ☹️)

I generally run the cars through the car wash at the local Sainsbury's which sprays up underneath as well.
During winter salt season I get to the local jetwash every couple of weeks to try and keep the rot off.
I must check our Sainsburys for under chassis wash, I use it quite often as other half works there, £2.30 for top wash with staff card 👍
Underneath mine is clean, I had no options but to gunk and jet wash, the self lube chassis system went out of control.
If your gonna have a go I recommend a pair of safety Goggles, the crap goes everywhere
Maybe I’m a sceptic, but if I buy a car and the engines spotless, I wonder why it’s been cleaned, what’s it hiding,, or maybe I’m the odd one out who doesn’t spend hours cleaning an engine no one will see.
I’d rather sell my car knowing it’s 100% mechanically right, if they wanna spit and polish there welcome,, 😁
Got my renewal last week, had increased 400 quid, went on comparethemeerkat and behold same price as last year, with the same company, so I cancelled auto renewal, then restarted ,, that’s insurance companies for ya
UPDATE,
Apparently the flashing gear change started after the sport button was pushed, and been flashing ever since.
The display is showing the correct gears and the box changes ok, but you can’t select low ratio box.
The battery has been disconnected with no change, any ideas anyone ?
Key code lock out, should clear itself, the fact you was most probably away for 1/2 hour is the only reason it started with the other key, if you sync’d it with the locks no reason for it not to work. Did it not say push remote when you tried to start ?
The sponge is in the cap, it squished down over the years, then without knowing your cap locks on, come across more than a few of them, lol
I’ve found they normally come unscrewed when the foam has worn and they grip each other, I cut a new ring out of memory foam, just finger tight now holds it tight enough to not come undone
Just scanning this post and saw your lpg tee off, I’m surprised that doesn’t air lock as it’s so high, if you cut back the aluminium pipe ( flow ) at the bulk head you can elbow it across the back of engine, I bought the elbows 19mm/16mm on eBay and ran mine through the reducer before the heater, can’t say I’ve noticed any difference in cabin temperature and cured my air lock problems I used to have, I also stuck a 16mm bleed valve in to make it even easier to bleed..
OB, use UPS if you can, there pretty much next day, only downer is you might have to drop it at local drop point (shop)
Jeez, that was bloody dangerous,, I always stand and watch them fit my tyres, guess I just like to know that they know what there doing,, had one try to tell me that 5 out on balancing wouldn’t matter,, it might not, but I paid so balance the bloody thing,,
Tony, if ur missing playing , your welcome here, there’s always something needs doing 👍
