Which month are we talking, may or June ? Depending on work load I might be interested

Obviously avoid s*^+ parts, make sure the new ones have nuts, a lot don't come with nuts,, I've used allmakes, bearmach and lemforder, make sure the rubbers aren't moulded on, I had a set of all makes the other week like that, the quality wasn't as good as previous ones I've had.
I've got to get under and do my brake pipes this year,, but once done it's done for a good few years,, do you have an old disc to hand ?
Put on backwards, makes getting the hub out easier ( easier to bash) also grab new axle seals, a good size bar, big hammer to shock the old joints when under load, they just pop out

I will start to trawl RAVE in a moment but off the top of your heads, is this a job I can achieve on the driveway (with a suitable size can of profanities)?

Yes, can be done on a driveway, I often go out and change ball joints, yes you can have a fight sometimes, my quickest was 3 hrs for top and bottom both sides , give yourself a day to cover yourself just in case

I had a 98 dse, the gearbox was the same power in reverse as going forward, check the fluid as Richards says for level and a nice red colour,, if burnt orange it needs changing

Green two pin one, probably from somewhere around the front looking at the loom its attached to.

No problem, drop me a pm with your address, I'll pop it in the post with some heat shrink..

My bad, didn't know year of rangie

What connectors do you need ? I have both a Thor and gems looms that I butcher for connectors,,

As Gordon says, remove panel on l/h side of boot (seat folding required) the cd changer is mounted on a frame below the sub, when the sub is removed, behind the insulation behind the sub, your find a dsp amp,, all nicely hidden away

Gems has a big oblong on top of engine, Thor has a banana looking manifold.. my guess is it's a gems, as normally turning the key on the Thor will re immobilise

Welcome , your find this site different to others, we don't answer look at rave to every question. Of course your welcome to look if you feel the urge,, fill in a bit more about yourself,, i.e. What you own/drive, where you are in our universe..
Any input is always welcome, we've all had experiences with our cars,

Read all this about lpg injectors, I now know one thing for sure,, I'll leave it to the experts,,

Yes to the plugs, check your tps, mine had a pattern part, misfire was like being kicked up the ass on motorways,

Gotta expect to be kept on ur toes, it's a p38, mine threw a fit this morning with gearbox fault, then died.. surprise surprise, the other half was driving it,, the dying issue was easy, she tried to run it on fresh air, AGAIN, grrrrrrr ! I'm sure she thinks warning lights like fuel level are to make the dash pretty,, must change xyz switch,,
Gareth, have you checked your compressor ? A weak compressor can take ages to lift the car, don't give up yet, better to have a rig that's had the problems sorted out, after a few months on here your be quite well clued up on any problems your likely to have

started reading toolless thread, got to page 6 and I was ready to start building an lpg bomb proof shelter, that guy is a complete danger to himself and others.
Richard, love your sarcastic remarks, he's that thick skinned I don't think they penetrated lmao.
Will read the next 7 pages tomorrow, but I bet richard didn't have to eat his hat !

so back to the original thread, how you getting on re your list ?

Wow, this socket size thread is mad !
12mm 12 sided on exhaust,
16mm or 5/8 6 sided for head bolts

Seems people are getting confused,,

Drivers side exhaust, remove wheel and inner arch, you can get at the barsteward bolts, as for socket, I use a spark plug socket, be careful at the back r/h ones, do not round them,, use a long pole to get some leverage, there tight buggers, you sometimes feel like there going to snap, but they dont

Ah what the hell, I'm probably about to join you...

This is not character assassination - honest

Well George, looks like your the only one that has the balls to tell it as it is, let's see what reply you get

I'm sure the other guys will confirm, but I'm pretty sure as long as hose outlets are correct it they will be ok, I've just ordered one for mine as I haven't changed it since I bought the car ( slaps my own wrists ).

As richard says, it needs more bleeding, how high is your reducer in relation to your expansion tank ? If you need more height on the tank, give it a tug upwards, place something under while you bleed the pipework,,
