Welcome jerwin, my other half works a mile away, she manages 9.4 mpg, with clear roads, lol, re the front dropping, have/did you take a 1/16 off the end of the pipes to valve block, if they've got a scratch they will leak, I always chop a bit off and chamfer the edge, spray soapy water all over and look for bubbles.
Now your on here your become a p38 mechanic in no time..

So today, I took the car out ran ok , then upon parking, when I started her up, no drive, no display ! Turned off, restarted, was ok... so double checking, I need new switch ( grey connector)

If your other half won't drive it, that's a bonus, mine only ever has problems when I let mine use it,, plus mpg drops drastically when she uses it compared to when I thrash it about

Hi guys, haven't driven the rangie for a few weeks, but the other half has been using her, she informs me that if she hits a speed bump to quick , gearbox fault flashs up on dash and gearbox goes into limp mode. Turn off and restart it's ok, I'm thinking a loose connection somewhere?
Answers on a postcard please !

Mines diving at the front since the cold weather, gotta love ya p38,,

I have a feeling that their service depends on the amount of (negative) publicity is involved. One to one e-mail is not shocking, that can wait but when social (=public) media is involved they take action. Not good.

Your most probably right Tony, but if me mentioning a RR forum put the fear of god up them, it's all good, he he 😊.

I emailed them on Monday, pointing out that the kit they've sent you ( not mentioning any names, just RR forums) was not suitable for 94-97 models. Got a reply from a guy called Ian, was very appreciative and said he will confirm with LR and get it sorted,
Amazing that I get an instant reply, yet they keep you hanging whenever you mailed them 😡
And now there making them for you,, bloody amazing,, lol
Fingers crossed.. your all sorted now,,

That's an interesting post for sure, one to remember

Eas will still work with bonnet open,, tailgate and doors are the inhibitor . When I close my bonnet, unless I put direct pressure on the catch I get the message, slam it and it's ok.

I just cleaned up the pillars on my old dse, they looked the same as the ones on mine now.
I put the in the sink with warm water, used a half a wooden peg to get the flock off, no scratches, looked like were made that way

I had a S1 , in fact had 2 of them, then I had the straight liner, Suzuki gt750, that thing was scary, lol

You had a H1 and your still alive, a rarity for sure, they were bloody lethal..

Marks beat me to it, you said you put air line on sunroof drains, I'm wondering did it clear, or disconnect the pipe !

The heated seats aren't that hard to do, more a pain in the butt, I upgraded the stats on mine at the same time, there's also kits on eBay that give you 2 heat settings, a little more involved fitting the switch into seat base. Much cheaper than OEM replacements, I just repaired the existing..

Has been the same for me since it was first posted, I'm still wondering who lifted her out, didn't realise how short she is.. she certainly looks a bit worried

No worries, if you need just give me a shout, can pop in the post easily enough

I've got a spare one of those if needed 🙂
Don't ask where I got, or why, I don't know..

Unless you've got something inside the pipe, when you heat it to bend it will collapse for sure, you need something flexible, but also strong enough to be pushed through the pipe first, I'm a little confused as to which pipe it is you've broken..

Funny you should mention the wipers having a fit, mine act as though they have a rain sensor sometimes ( unless they have) will stop totally, restart when rain hits the glass,, weird I know !
