Ah, I see. Good point well presented. If I may I shall keep an off-cut and try the local fabric shop for a match.

This is creeping up fast now. I'm guessing we will need to finalise, order and pay soon.

I fly back to the UK from holiday in a couple of days, and am back home at some point on the 14th...

Once I'm back I'm going to take the list of whoever has got their name on the list and contact the suppliers to get a final price. Then we'll know how much each kit is and can get the order finalised and underway.

Are those of us staying going with Marty's suggestion of the Premier Inn Swindon North?
I'd like to get on and book my room- one less thing to plan!

Seems a good idea to me, better than the place we stayed last time. I'll need to book it too so once you've found the cheapest option (hotels.com, trivago, lastminute.com, direct, etc) let us know.

That's my plan. Only a 2.5 hour drive so I'll aim to leave home early and get to the workshop around 0900 on Saturday.

Email sent to Martrim today to get a final price on the 7x headlining kits that are on the latest list.

6x in 'Oatmeal' colour, and the 1x in Black for myself.

I will reply back when I have heard from them with a definite price and get the order placed, so that it is delivered here to me before the workshop weekend, so I can bring it all up with me.

Ok, update:

Had a message back from Martrim today, and have pricing.

7 kits, as a total inc VAT and delivery comes to £62 per kit (so a saving of about £10/kit over list price) - or £434 in total for all 7

Those who have signed up for one, can you please confirm this is OK so we can sort funds etc out - once everyone has confirmed that this is OK, then I will place the order and pay for it with Martrim, so it is underway and delivered well before the workshop weekend.

Cheers,
Marty

That's great Marty. Thanks.
I'll Paypal cash over to you when I get home this evening, unless you'd prefer it another way?

Paypal is fine - if anyone wants to use that and hasn't got my details, then drop me a PM. Also happy with bank transfer if it's easier for anyone.

Cheers!

No problem Morat!

From what I gather they send next day TNT delivery so I should have it all well before the summer camp weekend!

I might have pushed the boat out a bit and turned up myself, no P38 but would be good to meet some old and new faces. Better not miss my daughter's wedding though!

Summer camp is over 2 days, unless you've really gone to town as the father of the bride, a wedding is usually only 1........

Getting closer, my P38 must be getting excited/nervous, the snag list is growing!

Marty, are you bringing your wonderful magical diagnostics test gear with you?
I have the SRS light on (only needs a reset after unplugging passenger airbag) and the HEVAC book symbol.
I would also quite like to check the EAS isn't holding any issues as it's still not right but I suspect it's down to leaking through the solenoid valves as when stood the front sinks and the lighter rear raises!

Can anyone think of anything we need to make sure we have supply of?
Waste oil drums? (I have a 20ltr drum I can bring along)
Disposable gloves?
Disposable cups etc...?

Smiler.
