Who decides? ultimately the courts - should someone make a complaint and bring a case.
It seems like a stretch for a US based forum to be worried about EU law. It only has teeth if the company concerned has UK/EU based operations which can then be fined.

I think it probably is. My accumulator was losing pressure at about 98k. When I changed it the pump got an easier life. The test is to let system pressurise and pump the pedal hard, release, wait a second and repeat. If the pump starts running after less than 3-4 pumps the accumulator is starting to age.

The three amigos are the ABS, Traction Control and the erm.. other braking related light that come on when you start up and go off when you start moving (over 4MPG for the ABS light).
They're famous for staying on as a group if you have issues with an ABS sensor or even when your battery is in less than perfect health.

I think the biggest cost will be insurance. If you can afford that the rest should fall into place!
Does he have any mechanical sympathy? There are some people who just won't get on with a car that needs TLC...at 17 I would have thrashed a P38 to death :(

Well it looks completely brown to me, including the seatbelts and carpets. Maybe my eyes are losing calibration :)

These guys https://www.theseatsurgeons.co.uk/ do what you're talking about. They're on an industrial estate about 10 miles from me. They measure up your seats and send the details to China where they stitch up replacements out of your choice of hide. Could be worth a punt as I heard they're competitive on price (as you'd expect).

It has super high-spec interior trim and a lot of one-off bits. It was meant to be the ultimate Urban version of a Range Rover. The only sold 4 so it's now ultra-rare.

Well, if someone fancied a decent project I suspect it would be worth a closer look before bidding. They only made 150 of those with petrol engines, apparently, so you won't be tripping over too many at the supermarket!
Also, according to the museum place that lists the spec, the Westminsters all came with Grey leather so either that has had an interior swap (but wood trim retained) or it was optioned somehow. Is there a way of getting a build sheet from the VIN for these cars?

Welcome to the other side 😀
Many people arrive pissed off but you'll soon recover!

The wood looks about right, certainly. Although strange things were possible in 2002.

Edit: if you click on the HD button and zoom in using the scrollwheel while you're looking at the rear 3/4 pic on a big monitor.... the badge says Westminster. Good spot, Robbo!

Sadly, although it has the speaker on the dash and should have the same upgraded-beyond-vogue sound system as an SE, it seems to have an aftermarket head unit.

I'm strangely drawn to that!
Not that I have the time, money or space... but how much is a realistic estimate?

This behaviour happens after a mod deletes a thread without hiding it first. I've tested it before and now I always hide the spam before deleting it.

You mean March of course 😀

But yes, pics would be great!

It could be that your injector rail pressure is too low and your gas injectors are going above 100% duty cycle to meet demand. This is adjusted by tweaking the reducer - but of course it'll mean re-mapping throughout the range.
The reason for low pressure could be the reducer failing or just that it was poorly set up in the first place.

You really can't spot the performance difference on a well set up multipoint LPG system. Also, it doesn't matter how much power your engine makes - it's the amount of fuel it burns. As you know, that's quite a different perspective on the Rover V8 ;)

I don't know about Marty's availability but if anyone can handle the trek to Yorkshire... we could host some driveway maintenance shenanigans outside my house. The garage is full of crap but there's power, light and my neighbour is a total petrol head so he won't mind.

What tools would we need?

Would this be enough of an excuse to buy a baby compressor? :)

Hmm, maybe we need a "Spring Camp" with Radius Arm Bushes on the agenda!

Very very nice! congratulations :)
Is that the original gear knob?

It sounds like you have a similar issue to me, in that your door ajar micro-switch isn't working in one or more door locks. Marty is shooting for confirmation with the Nanocom.

Be careful not to lock yourself out as I did - the car will sense the key in the ignition but won't sense the door closing so it's possible to push the doorpins down by mistake and shut the door without the doorpins popping back up. Ker-lunk. Pause. AHHHHHHH :)

Dunno about the EAS, sorry.

RightO chaps! :)
I'll get wiggling the propshafts and see if it's there. Now you've mentioned UJs I'm wondering if the slight V8 thrum that I've noticed recently is actually nothing to do with the engine...
