Me being a dumbass cracked the heater matrix π sooi yesterday spent a while undoing panels then cutting bracket ---- took me 2-3 hours as my right hand still out of action ( cylinder head does no good on fingers) Ah the joys of motoring π€£

Bugger!
I noticed my Range Rover was very fogged up the other night. I had a look at the underside of the drivers carpet and itβs soaking wet again. Going to need to have another look at this and see what is going on.
David.
Mine did that --- unfortunately you cracked the heater matrix were screw holds pipes ---- don't panic you don't have to strip dash ---- you can cut support and slip matrix out and simply gaffer duct back together again after if you want pics pm me Happy Christmas mate
Merry Christmas to you all --- I'm sneaking out to put dashboard back together after fitting bulbs in clocks ---- my lot won't mind π€ Anyway Best wishes to you and your loved ones both with you and away ---- symes
Got o rings done today --- my brother who is a biker& a mate came round to help me out ---- had a few laughs along the way ---- brother reckoned it's a well built machine --- my mate said words I wouldn't even think of let alone say --- funny when he had shower from pipes though --- aquavac worked overtime with the flooded wiring harness in channel by door
I've given up hope of seeing my in-laws ---- tbh that's not actually a bad thing What I don't understand as many of you are the same------ the tier system is rubbish ---- if people used common sense then this tier system wouldn't be needed ----- That's simple However many these days don't think for themselves they go by Facebook Twitter ect ---- I found having a P38 & discovery 1 is a good way to isolate your self ----- plenty to do π Anyway All just remember things could be worse ---- just try to keep positive
Just wanted to wish all of you and your loved ones a merry Christmas especially as this year has been a challenge to say the least
The hard bit is my right hand out of action and trying left hand instead ---- don't put fingers in way when replacing a cylinder head ---- maybe tomorrow get my brother to help me he not interested in cars BUT he got both hands working
Had heater matrix o rings let go on vogue spent all day trying to get to it ---- after 8 hours still can't get it so seriously thinking of pulling the engine and scrapping it now I can't be taking whole dash out of the thing
My vogue had same issue of wet load area ---- it was the tailgate seal ---- same for most p38s ---- put sealant into jaw part of seal then the fit seal ---- that should cure problem
Went to get center cap for vogue wheel and got a range rover classic bull bar to fit my 300tdi as well
Me got 1 on vogue ----- black HSE don't mind you it won't have roof n back soon either --- making a 2 door pick up
Busy day today ---- put heavy duty links on rear roll bar on vogue Then rear seals on 300tdi Then took drivers door of consul MK2 for reskin tomorrow & then can get back to 4.6 HSE body strip
Rear roll bar link change today and tear wheel bearings on 300tdi while at it
I had a 1973 96 v4 that had column change and had to be in reverse to remove key also had freewheel so could drive it like the 2 strokes ---- great car
Bloke did that at a car meet in his triumph stag ---- load of guys all stood around it guessing things like starter solenoid wiring etc etc I walked up to it got in put it in park n started it up ---- bloke bought me a burger for that π
Other problems with V8 left standing is oil seep on valve stems and sticking hydraulic lifters either can do emissions ----- I do hope it just oxygen sensors though
My vogue kept having was fault --- it was plug connector by pump ---- ended up redoing the wires with another connector block π real pain but problem gone ----- always seems to get problems in the dark or rain or cold never ona nice sunny day ----- such is life
As title says ---- this is a mates DSE My suggestion of bin it and get a V8 didn't go well ---- it's a BMW engine and I don't like them having blown 6 m57 derived versions ---- might be good in cars but crap in marine use ---- Toyota far better So any suggestions would be great help to mark and his DSE
That's someone who wants to autograph everything they can ---- Or just jealous --- that's envy for you Stangerover
Hi Paul welcome I got td5 commercials at work --- yep don't like them But got a discovery 1 300 TDI 7 seater and I love it's simplicity no ECUs to mess up electric stuff is lights wipers horn ----- classic insurance too But my vogue is better yet worth less ,!? Wired that
