So yesterday im fitting rear bags, its still running round on originals i would say, so i go to pull the clips,, hmm theyve corroded away, i end up cutting both top and bottom to remove, put lhr in, no problem, fit rhr, no problems, check for leaks, check on all heights, all good, so i load the car up with tools, jack ect, go to garsge and unload jack, chocks ect, go round to my car, put tools in the boot, lock up both cars, talking to my nieghbour when kaboom ! rhr bag blew in half, must admit it looked half decent, but was rolled closed and i didnt get under after the install, i just wonder how long its been sitting on a shelf somewhere

I'll have a look if i still have the old disc, ive got an OB one in mine, i couldnt see any difference in them

Seems as though your covering most things, the grease nipples are on the uj's on the prop, have a look at engine mounts aswell, a vibration as bad as you describe doesnt sound good

Its crazy some of the prices at the minute, i was looking at a knappa interior, £295, pretty much was listed and gone, when i spoke to dave at eastcoast ranges he said he can get upto £700 for one, ive seen plenty of interior parts for sale at extortionate prices

Try to take a picture of the nut, there’s a few different socket keys on eBay, you might be lucky,

Give it some plus gas, get a 32oz ballpen hammer and wallop the drag link, it will drop out, a few good wallops should be enough.

I hope it was fixed free of charge, half of the half wits that work on cars shouldn’t go anywhere neer them.
Most probably got there nvq and think there qualified mechanics.

Im with richard, check the wheel nuts, if the noise still prevales i would check the work done last, ie brake discs , caliper bolts ect

Its down to how much room you have around the bolt, and how deep it is sunk in , sometimes only the proper kit ( first one mentioned ) will fit

Dont think ive seen such a short ad, i think they think springs are going to make or break the sale, there in for a surprise.

There not that bad to do, once you’ve done one side, you fly through the other side.

Glass is a bugger for making a red mess, hope your ok now and hand working as it should.

It amazes me that people carry on driving when there getting strange things happening to there cars, yet us as p38 owners chase a squeak, let alone anything more serious, lol

If it didn’t like going round corners it’s definitely the viscous that had gone, it’s as though the the brakes are on, then suddenly release, I would imagine driving with it would be scary for sure,
I’ve only experienced it turning a customers car round.

I’ve got spare Thor ones, might have gems, can’t remember if someone had them already, I’ve also got loom got Thor to cut connection

Lucky dip on this one, could be any number of things, think this is going to be a long and pain staking chase to find it.
Sounds like a get under and check all mounts to eliminate them, check for any play on diffs, wheel bearings, driving shaft uj’s, the list could be endless, sorry not much help ..

Wow, there’s a 2002 vogue that was buy it now for 2k, picnic tables the lot, last time I looked it was at a grand

I hope the l322 doesn’t go the same way, as mentioned before, the. p38 with the 4.4 bmw engine would be a blinding car, good looks, good engine.
The 322 has just to many bling bits for me.

Shit ! , I better stay away from Spain when driving, the dogs head is usually out the window, as is most of her aswell, bags on the seat, they don’t expect you to put stuff in the boot, by the time you get home you’d have an empty bag and a boot full of scrambled up food.
