That’s a P38 for you, mysterious

I’m trying to remember when I had problems, I’m sure it was the earthing of the bulbs, I think a lot of it is the bulbs nowadays, they don’t seem to have the quality of previous ones.
Did you try the bulb positive ?

If your getting 12 v then it’s a connection problem, get some sand paper and lightly clean the bulb bases, where the bulbs touch the side and check any wiring, also have you tried putting direct feed to check it over

Jeez, just seen the price of these, I’d definitely be playing before I wasted 50 quid plus on a brake light,
There’s not much to them after all

No reason why they wouldn’t, might need a bit of spacing behind ( washers or timber) as they don’t close tight together, they need the plaster board for grip, but they are neat and tidy, extremely strong,

I’ve had one with all bulbs blown, it’s not unusual, also had with just bad connections

The cone type plaster board fixings are pretty good, I’ve used both metal and plastic type.
If your screwing brackets ( example, kitchen cupboards) I use the metal ones, if Your screwing through timber, use the plastic ones, as your not limited to using the screws supplied.
Depending on what your putting up, there are others that when put through the plaster board, you have a tool that pulls it tight at the back and front, there neat and solid as..

Have you got there number, wouldn’t mind getting mine , I dropped the key about 2 months ago, had a no start situation, had to get a cab home, repair the key and cab back, grrr

I’m so so on the stands, I’ve had the big flip over saw ( goes from chop to bench )
Had the extending bed for putting 8x4 sheets through on you own, but with the radius arm I normally just plonk it on the floor,
As the stuff your cutting is small I wouldn’t of bothered with a stand.

Naw, that’s only got either a 7 or 9 inch blade, I think a 7”, mines got a 12” blade,if you’ve got any 2x1 laying around, have a few practice cuts to get used to it,

Woohoo, his first saw, and it’s a radial arm with compound, go miles,, lol,,
Your have fun with that,, I’ve got the same, just bigger, does pretty much anything you need, , were soon have you doing double compound mitres, lol

Worse ways if you have to go down, get them to relay the elgrand, and hook the caravan upto the ML. I sent cars on there way without me, just say you e just broken down and your still on your hols.

See link in pm, might be of use ?

I’d be tempted to clamp it miles, chop saws can be unforgiving buggers, I’ve used them for the past 35-40yrs, I would hold it, but I’d hate for you to have an accident, if they catch it can throw the piece out your hand , and your hand will go wherever, my neighbour asked to borrow my 9” rip saw, I just looked at him and said no, most dangerous tool on any site, that bugger can jump..

I think for the hassle why bother, I’ve had people say , you get free congestion charge in London, BS do you, mine has lpg on the log book, I’ve never got anything off the tax and pay congestion charges.

Sounds like I could make my own set for less than Island charge and come out ahead by one chop saw....

As long as you don’t gain a saw, but lose your fingers, lol

Yours should be a 60d if it’s a 4.6

I’m sure if you ask around, one of your friends will have a chop saw, if not send rods to me and I’ll cut them

I’d say no problem, but 700 miles on petrol, it would be cheaper using relay.

If it’s a bit lazy, it could be the starter rather than the battery, have you tested your old battery

It looks like I may have a solution to the problem! When I bought the car the card with the EKA code was missing from the owners's manual. The seller told me that he believed the EKA was the same as the radio code which was written on the inside cover of the owner's manual. I phoned up my local Landrover dealer today and as it turns out the codes are not the same (they're very similar so I can understand why the guy I bought it from misremembered).

Did they give you the eka over the phone ? I’ve always had to go into dealers with logbook and enough ID to open any account I wanted, lol

Varnish = lacquer,, same meat different gravy, both do the same job, if applied through spraying, hard to tell the difference, I’ll let you know how drilling it goes, I’m moving my lpg switch as I’ve wired in an aux socket to radio, should keep the kids quiet now they can connect there phone to it,,
