If I read correctly, it’s a 4.6 gems, but I could be wrong,

My interior is black, I have grey lining as well

Then yours is light grey, lol

50 miles,, Jeez, I moan at going a few miles, only one station in my town, they just refurbed Sainsburys and didn’t put lpg in,, big mistake, would of cornered the market here.

Welcome Nick, plenty of wd40 , some gentle levering and some good luck should see the light pop out from the ball, really crap design on LRs part.

I can’t believe they won’t take class 7 radio active material, can’t understand why, lmao

Not only a wasted trip, stealers charge to stick the key in the lock and hold down the buttons

Totally different drive, I’ve had dse, petrol, lpg, classics and p38s. Mine is my first on lpg, I used to listen to the don’t buy if lpg crew.
Is your dse chipped ? Makes a huge difference, especially if your a motorway driver.

When I got mine regassed, I went to halfrauds, when the guy came out with a tin of gas I nearly died laughing, obviously I went elsewhere, I paid 40 quid, system was vacuumed first, then correct amount of oil and gas added, took an hour.
Nice and cold when needed

30, jeez you'd be better off running a 4.6 on lpg, on a run I can get 19-20, but with gas being half the price of fuel, it’s makes for a reasonable mpg. I had a dse and know they have to work to hard..

Only 2 faults, I’d be happy with that, you do more miles than any of us, how many 20 yr old cars are still running, let alone towing for hundreds of miles at a time.
You know your not happy unless the bonnets open , lol

Good luck with that OB

When you look at the listing, there saying it’s only different on 2002 , so the last ones, the difference being .2 of an inch, depending on chassis number.
Certainly something that I didn’t know.

Thanks Brian, I’ll have a look, some of the hoses are the same size on top

I have numerous Thor block, but the car I’m working on is a gems, I don’t want to be messing about welding brackets ect, though it might of worked, I was wrong though, typical LR.

Jeez, think I’ll keep an eye out for a gems

I’ve got a gems that I’ve done the heads on, it ticks over for hours ok, but directly it's out under load it will overheat, I’ve changed rad, stat, repaired leaking Orings and pipes, checked water pump, flushed the system twice, driving me nuts. I’m thinking there’s a problem with the block.
I’m wondering if I can put a Thor short engine with flywheel and cps , I can’t see why not, maybe a few wire swaps to cps. Anyone done this before.
Also will a 4.0 ecu run a 4.6 ? Again I can’t see why not as only stroked, same size bores ect.

I read your post on RR.net and wondered if one of the boys would direct you here lol. I think no matter what goes wrong with your car, there is someone here that will put you right!! Wait until LPGC comes along and he'll see you right about an installation. He does it for a living.

As if any of us would direct someone here from rr,net, were not allowed to do that. Lol

Think we’re all in the same boat, luckily enough my lpg failed this week, so other half has gone upto redcar in her Clio,,, otherwise guess who would be the lucky person driving it around, lol

It’s normally a faulty sensor, it’s been said that locking and unlocking with the key sometimes clears it.
Is the car running otherwise ?
Ps, you can buy replacement cover for the buttons, get a pin under the edge and it lifts off, takes seconds to change
