Pfft, if you want persistent rain - head west. I should know after four years in Liverpool!!
4 years and you still have your wheels,, that’s amazing 🤨
Check tps and crank sensor connections, go over all the other connections, especially temp sensor. I don’t think the problem is the cam sensor, it would be extremely rare for that to go, it’s most probably just a bad connection.
If you can, just spray connector cleaner up the plugs you can get to, including maf and airbox temp, you know what these buggers are like, one dirty or misreading sensor causes hell !
Wow, it’s very blue, lol
That explains the noise you could hear, unusual for the Caliper bolts to come off, maybe one you missed, it happens,,
Make a note everyone, if your head lining is sagging you’ve got a rare thing, what a heap, to me the roof damage would write it off on its own, ive always been led to believe that the roof is a structural part of any car, ( maybe I’m wrong) so how can it be an N cat !.
Good luck to anyone who buys it
Always the way,, like when you throw something out and need it the next week
I remember those days of being on call, I was 24/7 , used to drive me insane
I’ve just been offered an alpine head unit, with code and manual, £75.
If anyone’s interested let me know ASAP
Always feels like your gonna strip them, I always do the first 90 then let them sit for five minutes before I hit them with the second 90.
As Tony says, you can feel if it’s getting to tight, it’s ridiculous that the bolts are so tight, I’ve only ever stripped one, they take a lot of pressure.
I’m sending some rain your way 🤪
Mine was starting for a few seconds, so fuel must of been present to a degree, but once it fired the pressure wasn’t good enough, if your pulling it out, I wouldn’t bother to much as you know it was running ok before, I bet once transplanted it starts straight away
One thing no one has mentioned, what ever you do, don’t leave the key in car with door closed when connecting the battery, it WILL lock you out,
You know you love a challenge, 🤪
Personally I think the aerials are poop, I’m looking at putting a shark fin on the roof, can’t be any worse than what we have.
I’m not sure what’s worse, a blown hose or a trip to ikea !
Sounds like you still need to bleed the heater rad, did you give it a flush ?
It seems to be a point that picks up the crud as it’s a low point.
As far as I’m aware, 25 quid buys you the top hose and tee off to stat,
I had one that was running nice, stopped and it wouldn’t start, like you the fuel light was on, took 3 cans before it would start, give it a shot of easy start, should fire up !
Happy new you to all
I’d certainly stick it on, at least your mobile again and finally getting some use from the car
I’ve done the heads on a few with l322 front ends, they’ve all been minus the ac condenser, so obviously if you change the front you can’t have ac !
I’m still looking for the supercharger, must be a micro version
