Afternoon all
I cannot get the software to talk to the car using eas unlock.
I had a cheap tester which can read the ecu. So I assume the old port it OK.
The software sends FF and 1 out but I'm only getting 80 and 28 coming back.
It seems to read the heights on the get heights page. But on the calibration page it is mainly zeros
I am trying to add photos to explain more clearly

I have just put Bearmach ones on the front of my little project and managed to get some old man emu ones for the rear.
They ride nice at the minute as much as i can tell from going round the back roads near where i keep the project until i can get it fully on the road.
Nice, i will get that done next week end all being well.
I need a decent tester to turn the airbag fault light out now i have reconnected all the plugs, as i have learnt it being a 95 it wont clear itself and then i can hopefully get it back on the road this year
Thanks for that.
I assume drop the blocks in the 4 bump stops, drop the girl down tile she sits on the stops. Then do i just re measure the figures and set them on the calibration page... im guessing something along them lines
Running a machine shop I can make a few sets.
Are they best out of nylon rather than something like stainless.
It has been a while but the project has finally had a bot more attention. Over the weekend, the girl has had new air springs all round. Bearmach front shocks and steering damper and OME shocks on the rear.
She still sits low on the drivers side front and rear, so i will be plugging the laptop in this weekend hopefully and levelling it out
IS there any set factory heights from wheel centre to wheel arch. I have read the figures in the software wont necessarily be even across all the corners etc.
The 25 year old air springs where a nightmare to get out but enjoyed getting them all done and swapped out
Next will be discs and pads i think along with some new HT leads, parts i have accumulated over time whilst still busy working and not having any time to play
Thanks for the help guys.
Found the plugs for the fog lights under the bumper
Just need to see if I can fish the internal plug from behind the panel.
Thats easy enough then keeping it in the open area
Has there ever been the interest in a meet up section or something along those lines?
Thanks again Rich.
Investigation will continue i reckon
I wasn't sure if they were part of the same loom.
Or if they had a basic loom vs a hi line loom with the extras on
Howdy everyone
Looking to add some extra lights to the Project as I am scared of the dark.
Mine doesn't have any factory front fog lights so I have purchased the factory fog light switches and was hoping to use these, so they look neater in the factory switch pack on the dash
I know on my D2 I had to use a certain switch to make sure it was 'self latching' and along with using a relay.
Do we have the knowledge if the either the front or rear fog light switches are good to use. I found a wiring diagram on the dark side forum and have seen that the lights feed info back to the BECM,
Not sure how this would effect use the switch itself if they are suitable to use
All advice and ideas welcome
No doubt I will end up doing something. I like lights so, Im sure I can one day put some thing in front of the Blue to hide it.
The bridge wire looks to go from the black (ground) to black and pink, again im sorry if that's not correct.
Iv cut the link off and insulated the pigeon dropping looking solder and will put another compressor in when it arrives and perhaps start again
Don't know if this link will work
https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/east-coast-4x4-interiors
But this chap I have sourced quite a few second hand parts from on ebay.
He doesn't list the Lucas Mafs that often but he does have plenty of them by all accounts.
Perhaps worth messaging him directly and see what he says.
Hello and Welcome
You have certainly come to the right place
Ha no thats the daughter. Im a slightly different shape
Super. Cheers guys.
