I presume the voltage sensitive switch ensures it only powers the caravan when the alternator is charging?
Sort of like a split charge relay to charge caravan battery? I had to think about it for a second or two as couldn't understand why you'd have to keep the engine running at night to keep the lights on in the caravan! Doh!
The DSP does have some noise related stuff. All the RTFM says is:
_Automatic features
’Speed dependent volume and sound
equalisation’- The volume and sound
equalisation levels will automatically adjust to
compensate for road noise.
’Speed & volume dependent compression’-The
audio system takes into account road
speed and any quiet audio passages, to
improve volume and sound quality.
’Dynamic headroom management system’-The
audio system monitors both the input
and the output for the amplifier, thereby
optimising its performance to ensure
maximum output with minimal background
’noise’.

According to Tinleys, these matrix injectors are suitable for Landi Renzo. Same ones I have. After 150k plus miles mine just make an almost inaudible rustle!
Very not cheap though, especially as you need two of them.

So anymore than 30mph in 4th is gonna nuke it then?
There's a red line on that rev counter for a reason!
Mind you, by the time you hit it, the lifters will have pumped up, the valves will be floating and it'll be self-regulating to an extent. I'm pretty sure there's a rev limiter built into the ECU as well. Never say never though- I'm sure you could grenade it if you tried!
Strangely I'm happy with my Zavoli/ AEB system with matrix injectors (those things are super quiet!).
Probably because with new reducer, new (used) ECU, all new hoses, quite a lot of wiring, soon to have new front/rear feed line, soon to have new multivalve in tank, there's not much old stuff left!
The system did last for 167000 miles before I had to replace all that stuff though and, as far as I know, the injectors are original.

Maybe it's showing "**O**miles" because it was only used in Japan (**X**km) ?
I'll bet you can't fool the BECM/ Binnacle as easily as just resetting the market in BECM. Everyone would be clocking them if that was the case :)
No mention in the Bible!
No SV plate on slam panel. My guess is it's just a late HSE with a Royal Edition decal applied by LR Japan to speed it out of the dealers.
Nice clean engine, no actual mileage given, no interior shots
Nothing to see here, move along...

I think it's good practice to bung it into low range every few weeks just to keep everything free and working. Or maybe that's my personal justification for fiddling with all the buttons :)
The only thing I can't do is get the High Range into 1 reliably.
Stop fiddling with the buttons and get your valve block rebuilt :)
There's adjustment on the selector cable where it connects to the operating arm on the box. Might just need a bit of a tweak.
It's a great team building exercise for yourself and Mrs Morat. She gets to sit in the car and exercise the gear lever. You get to lie underneath and adjust.
Sounds about right!
Where were they all? Up the side of an Alp or something?!
No torque converter lock up in low box so max speed will vary. Engine rev limits stay the same.
^^^ +1 to what Sloth says.
If you use sockets you can also get a better feel for the torque you're applying to the clip screw. Jubilee actually publish recommended torque settings for all of their clip sizes:

On my Note using Chrome I have the same thing RR.
To browse all the product categories you have to scroll right to the very small print at the foot of the page and click on Site Map. You can then see all of the product trees.
My 02 does it, even though the superlock motors have had the snip! My 95 doesn't do it at all.
There's no logic to these things is there?

The cynic in me wonders if these are no longer available because LR sued/threatened them (?)
The cynic in me wonders if they couldn't actually do what they advertised :)
When the last working Huf programming machine (the US one) for P38 fobs finally packs up, will new replacement fobs for the P38 become unobtainable? I see no obligation on LR to continue to provide a part for a model that went out of production 16 years ago.
Invest in used matching lockset fobs (pref multiples) now and you'll probably make fortunes, in partnership with Marty doing the BECM end :)
Marty has gone into fobs in much more depth than I have, but it's my understanding that P38 fobs are one-time programmed by Huf and can't be re-programmed, by anyone, unfortunately.
There's anecdotal evidence around the forums that they can be "cloned" though.
I suppose- and again Marty will know much better than me, that if you can obtain a fob, or a few fobs, from the same lockset, you can associate the lockset code with an unlocked BECM
Dealers charge dealer prices- all fairly standard
£180 plus VAT is going rate at the moment.
Oh yes, they have to come from USA, so there's a 6 week or so wait.
Just gets better, doesn't it?
I can't get at mine for the same reason. I do have a waterpump on the shelf so can measure the stub if that'd help?
I'll be over the workshop around lunchtime.
Nah- more basic than that. Did you spot the staining on the drivers footwell carpet?!
Well, it does have the essential upgrade:
"Upgrade Suspension from Airbags to Springs, using full Britpart kit inc Control Module"
I'm thinking he means the red light on the gear shifter by P, which is out when BECM sleeping and on when it's awake. Could be wrong though.
If that is the case (BECM waking up to a fob transmission) that just means it's received a fob signal (or wifi, door opener, weather station etc), but not necessarily the correct fob signal.
