He'll be waiting a while to get even 1/4 that price!

There are still ridiculously priced P38's and Classics that are an the bay now that were on when I bought my P38 three years ago!!

Wishful thinking!

Looks a bit rough to me..

Mine is a tad rough but no where near that!

A wire brush on a grinder will get through the grot to the proper metal, if there is any left!

Dunno if it is to do with the roads I frequent, which are ploughed to an extent!

There are no leaks in the system from what I can gather and it doesn't sink..

It has had a valveblock rebuild too!

Yep it isn't getting that hot..

68c is the highest after a 40mi run today!

Just wondering now i have a recon unit, that I can barely hear.

How hot should it be after a 25mi drive?

I can touch it, my thermo says it is 58C

Does this sound about right?

Reason I ask is I can no longer hear when the pump was running, unlike the Dunlop I had before!

H

From what I recall it displaces the Anti roll bar and shockers to lessen the body roll and twisting..

It still has air ride..

I can't see a swashplate pump.

A chap on Landyzone owns a lovely 630r,

Bought myself a recon pump off a chap on ebay.

He seems to have good reviews, it's a genuine pump not the dunlop crap and he lists pictures of the rebuild which is reassuring.

In the process of getting a refund for the Dunlop one!

Brake fluid doesn't effect clear coated paint, only singe stage..

How are the 2 Vogues doing.

I noted above you have big valve heads and a beefier cam, how do you think it compares to a stock Thor 4.6?

I've been thinking of doing some work on mine, and am weighing up options of whether to rebuild a stock motor or go for something slightly pokier!

Any good ones that you'd recommend?

Not too keen on Rimmer Bros!

Its still at rimmertwats at the moment!

Pulled it all apart..

This looked suspect

The NRV's still looked ok.

Built up and ready for when I manage to get a compressor!

Ahh,.

Cheers Richard

Can't imagine what it looks like inside!

Roight!

Chaps I have a removed my old Valveblock ready for a rebuild when the O rings come at the weekend.

enter image description here

Most of the pipes came out without fuss, however I did notice the Drive pack was an odd shade!

enter image description here

The area around the exhaust was black

enter image description here

The desiccant looks alright

enter image description here

Pipes look like they've been in and out a few times.

enter image description here

I've not touched it in 3yrs and neither has the previous owner or the chap before him, so it's been atleast 7 years + since it's last rebuild, if ever!

The block itself also has numbers scribbled on it, no idea if this signifies anything?

enter image description here

More to come later when it comes apart i'm sure!

Thanks Both!

Yep it ready 0.05 which i'm happy with!

Right..

When she's awake she draws 0.89 amps, this drops to 0.62 when the bonnet is closed..

And after 1:18 seconds it drops to 0.05 amps..

This sound about right?

This is on the 10A scale on my multimeter!

It dropped in stages, it went 0.52 - 0.34 - 0.12 - 0.05

Cheers

Today she seemed fine, voltage when sat was 12.5 after 24hrs.

It was 12.65 so I'm a bit confused..

Fine today!

Spun over like a top!

I've moved her further from the house, maybe that'll make a difference, we have a new fangled BT hub and weather stations so maybe that was keeping it awake..

She will go to sleep..

I'll have to check tonight!

Cheers..

Wake it was 0.90 amps..

It settled to 0.62 but she was still awake, i'm assuming when it goes to sleep it to is well below .40

I'll check tomorrow!

Right..

I've removed the LPG ECU and related fuses..

She's gone to sleep..

Not holding my breath though!
