The 630r Overfinch was fiited with the HP24 the TCM mapping was changed but the internals were the same.
That 6.3 small block put out 403hp and over 550nm of torque so i think it would handle the M57.
Tailgate trim and interior plastics/carpets reinstalled.
Which is a damn site better than this.
Looks like the makings of a great project.
I'd rather use the HP24 as both the 5hp24 and GM5l40E wouldn't be up to the job!
The 5hp24 lacks a torsional dampener in the Torque converter so it slips the lockup clutch to give good changes but with more power it slips and tbf even stock it doesn't really last.

The seats and it makes my skin crawl just looking at them were filthy..
Covered in old Oils and fag ash..
Now I thought Lightstone was a Creamy Gold colour "gag" it is infact an Off white!!
AFTER a rather vigorous clean this was a do or die approach as they are quite worn and I really can't make them any worse.
A stiff shoe brush and Autoglym Leather cleaner got all the gunge off.
Makes my skin crawl thinking I was sitting on all that filth..
Done the rears too but thats a separate post!
