The
ABS TC and Handbrake lights are constantly illuminated regardless.
The HB one is puzzling as it is on regardless of whether the handbrake is on or not!
Brakes are perfect etc

Mine magically decided to unlock after clouting the door a few times with my palm!
However i don't want to risk it locking again as i believe the passengers side door latch is faulty, or i'm paranoid!

She goes offroad around the farm quite frequently so a Good AT will be a requirement,

She goes/went off road quite a bit so lights are a rather big requirement especially on the farm, in the winter!!
a good few "mods" i want to do and I thought it prudent to add this system.

I've heard of a good few peeps who have a T-Maxx duel battery set up on their P38.
2 things i've been wondering is..
Where does the 2nd battery go?
And How does it in a nutshell get wired into the vehicle?
AND is it for prurely accessory purposes or can it be used as a backup to the main battery?

Aye up chaps.
I thought the ole' P38 was leaking coolant through the rear core plugs, long story short i believe the water has entered the bellhousing through the TQ bolt access hole, the rubber bung is missing..
Anyway.
Do you all find the coolant level "settles".
Mine settles at around here,
But never goes below?
If i top it off, it goes back down and settles there.
Odd Q i know!

Just discovered my rear core plugs are leaking, ya know the ones that need the gearbox pulling to get at! pfft..
Discovered this Splodge on the TQ inspection plate on the bottom of the bellhousing.
Also the front main transmission seal is leaking so tbh its defo a box out Job..
While I'm there I might aswell have a play with the engine..
An RPI engine can be had for aroiund 4000 pennies RTR
My Plan is to Pull the 4.6 - rebuild it and throw it in my Discovery 2 as the TD5 is getting a bit long in the tooth.
And put a 5.2 in the P38..
Just thinking out loud.

A 5.2 with forced induction would put out atleast 450hp, that would be fun.
And make a good towcar!
