Heat the bolt ? Could be corrosion ? 610nm should be ample to shift bolts ----- you were doing anti clockwise ? Loss of patients/ temper can effect logical reasoning ---- give up have a cuppa and relax tackle fresh another day 🤗

No worries mate 👍

Those wheels are Prosport 16" not Hurricanes ( 18") 👍

Gilbertd. If you noticed at beginning of o/p it says rad outlet to expansion tank broke So waste of time reverse flush 👍 As for Derv only 1 to have is old 300tdi as runs on just about anything ---- not powerful but go on for miles & parts available anywhere in the world for it

You can fit side steps easily by placing on floor near to vehicle lift one end into place put bolt through then lift other end into place then after that it's not too difficult And definitely a sad day about HRH Prince Phillip

The rads on Thor can block especially if got blue antifreeze and someone put pink antifreeze or vice versa as mixing them cause it to go like jelly ---- I would get rad and thermostat then see how it goes

Does not matter to me ----- my rover p6 does about 10mpg As I see it ---- Can't afford it don't have it ---- people will go on about log But that depends were you live ---- No garage within 30 miles from me has it anymore

You say it's a 1999 but what ---- V8 or diesel if V8 could be H/G or even a dropped liner

Maybe spray water repellent on it and connections 🤔 As you say it's probably water got in it somehow

I got water pump£52 and crank sensor £74 That's reasonable especially as sensor was Bosch ---- what's the point of having a premium vehicle if you can't afford parts for it You get what you pay for I suppose Used my vogue every day at 16mpg not a problem but now trading in discovery 1 stuff instead

I've encountered many people moaning about britpart stuff ---- they used to do OE or cheap options --- Usually cheap part gives up and then people moan about britpart ----- Now britpart changed --- due to the reputation

Well at least it's fixed itself for now 🤗

Got myself a 3 door discovery V8 today

To be honest probably easier to do small holes & paint panel then separate whole quarter panel---- it's the lining it up again or easier to turn it into a pick up it all depends on your choice and skill set

It's odd but look at when my crank sensor failed Everybody said rec counter don't move Well mine did yet change sensor and up n running ----- just obvious to me as DSE Was exactly the same issue with gears and it was xyz switch not moving with shaft another thing could be slotted hole on selector arm that goes to gearshift can round out so gets sloppy on selector shaft

Xyz switch has square type hole that can & does end up circular ---- allowing gear shaft to rotate independently 🙄🙄 Had that on DSE

It will be switch on side of the gearbox that's causing fault ---- as lights on shifter are playing about ------ the center can slide around gear shaft so shaft gets gear but xyz doesn't move too

Check out switch on side of gearbox underneath you might have moved it slightly

Funny how customs can Rob us blind but can't stop the drug trafficking ---- they'd have to actually work then

I used limo dark on sides --- not front doors and 30% on rear ----- just dark enough to ward off prying eyes --- I fitted led interior lights upgrade too Very useful at night
