Second lot arrived friday. Same bloody filters again.
Had argument with them as they think I have ordered in error.

Taking them to local branch for refund.

I even found a guy on eBay selling the same ones as he got same as us.

Put the same 75 w 140 full synthetic in the front diff. Interesting stuff it is crystal clear, and flows nicely when cold.
Checked all fluids, 28 psi in the fronts, 38 in the rears, ready for the trip up North at zero dark thirty tomorrow morning.....

So, I know this has been knocked around a bunch, but for my 16 in Yokohama's what do youse guys run for air pressure?
I have been running 38 and 38.............

28psi front 38psi rear.
235/70R16's
AFAIK all 3 standard tyre sizes have the same tyre pressures

The bowden cable connects to the metal part at the top and the inner to the v shaped lever.

Broke the drivers door internal opening handle. There appears to be a problem with the latch mechanism itself. Currently having to open the window to let myself out.

If the outside handle is working, it must be the bowden cable or the plastic part it connects to.
Both parts move a central lever.

Door latch

Changed the in tank pump today. Did the cut a hole method.

Engine oil and filter changed yesterday.
2 injectors changed

Gearbox oil and filter is on hold. The corner blocks are seized to the bolts :( Saving that job until after my next hols as need car.

Aircon condenser to change tomorrow. I changed the receiver/drier yesterday. That was a bitch of a job.

Busy week :)

I always change into 2nd or third going down hills.
Going up it varies.

Pull the cover that the obd port sits in and check the wires for corrosion and water ingress. They have been known to cause those problems.

It's only held in with 2 scrivets

Today I've spent most of it fixing the central locking.

Broke the tab that operated the key lock in drivers door last week :(

Some superglue, metal strips and then metal putty and it's back to working. Broke it while removing the lock mechanism to change the seized motor. Works a treat now.

Then on to passengers side as that wasn't working either. Seems the CDL microswitch was knackered.
Made one working lock out of 2 broken ones.
Changed the motor on that one too.

Tomorrow I start to change 1 or 2 diesel injectors as one is pissing diesel out of the leakoff stub.

After that I may do a autobox oil and filter change.

Also got in tank pump to change.

Then possibly friday when my 16ltr oil drain pan turns up, I'll do an engine oil and filter change.

Busy week this week.

For the price of them, I changed both rear carriers and front ones. Brakes work so much better.

Personally I'd put in what's in the manual ;)

About 28mpg measured on motorway at 70 and lanes around Scotland.

Not bad :)

Bloody bodge artists.

Apparently wears the pawls leading to broken box.
I always come to complete stop.

Mine were picked up by the courier about 10:30 this morning so I doubt they've re-labelled them and sent them to you. That would be expect far too good service from DPD.....

Lol, yeah, mine are being picked up tomorrow from work.

Did you get the same ones?

It's what I was thinking lol

Yes, got it and replied.

On the pollen filters, been on to Euro. The 507670038 is correct which cross references to a Crosland C40235P but the ones they sent were Crosland C40353P with the 507670038 number hand written on the boxes. The C40353P are for a Lexus. My local branch don't have any in stock so they've given me a returns number and DHL will be picking them up tomorrow. The correct ones will arrive sometime.......

Got mine today. Exactly same problem as you.
Will be returning them.

At least you got some lol. I'm still waiting :(

1997 afaik should have dipstick.
I think it changed about 98 onwards to plug.

The dipstick are different on 3 different engines.

Just ordered 4 pollen filters for the rangy for £8.50 delivered.
CROSLAND item number 507670038 on eurocarparts

Luckily mine uses a separate element so you can see the 'quality'.
